I walk between 15,000 and 20,000 steps a day in a warehouse. Most safety shoes start feeling heavy after lunch. These stayed comfortable throughout my shift and the grip is excellent on smooth concrete floors.

Having known Afzal for years, I've seen the amount of effort, research, and determination that went into creating Xnexz. What impressed me most was how much thought was put into every component rather than simply sourcing a generic safety shoe and adding a logo.

When I examined the product closely, I could see that the material choices were intentional. The aluminium toe cap reduces weight, the Kevlar midsole improves protection against sharp objects, and the overall design feels modern and practical rather than industrial and outdated.

The visual appearance is probably one of the strongest features. Most safety footwear on the market prioritises protection but ignores style. Xnexz manages to deliver both. The shoes look like something people would actually enjoy wearing rather than something they're forced to wear for work.

When Afzal first told me he wanted to start a safety shoe brand, I thought he was crazy. The market is full of established companies. But after seeing what he created, I understood why he was so passionate about it.

The thing I liked most about StrideX wasn't even the safety features at first. It was the design. If I saw someone wearing these on the street, I wouldn't immediately think they were safety shoes.

Before giving my opinion, I spent several evenings researching the safety footwear market.

I compared Xnexz with brands like Skechers Work, CAT, Uvex, Apache, Amblers and several others. I even asked ChatGPT and Claude to compare the specifications, materials, certifications and pricing.

What surprised me was how competitive the product looked on paper.

When you add everything together, the price feels extremely aggressive compared to established brands.

Usually new brands cut corners somewhere. I couldn't find where Xnexz had cut corners.

The packaging alone feels more premium than products I've seen costing considerably more.

I think the biggest challenge won't be product quality.

It will be getting people to discover the brand.

I've spent years on construction sites and industrial projects, so I've worn plenty of safety footwear.

Most safety shoes fall into one of two categories:

Comfortable but not very protective.

Or protective but uncomfortable.

What interested me about StrideX was that it was trying to solve both problems.

After testing the shoes, the first thing I noticed was the weight. They feel noticeably lighter than traditional steel-toe alternatives.

The second thing was the flexibility.

Many safety boots feel rigid and bulky. These feel closer to trainers.

I also reviewed the impact test demonstration. While no test replaces proper certification, it was useful to see the confidence the team has in the product.

For workers spending 8–12 hours on their feet, reducing fatigue matters just as much as protection.
